South County Services - a Community Safety Net
Toward our goal of building a safety net and ensuring the well being of Individuals,families
and seniors in the South County region, we offer support and assistance in several areas. We
have an array of resources for people needing help to feed their families, stay in their homes,
get assistance in acquiring transportation,and access medical exams that are no-cost or
low-cost, among other services.
We aim to serve the diversity of people within our region from children to families and seniors.
Our success is based on the hard work of a small staff and a strong core of volunteers.

Basic Needs
- Utility/rental or mortgage assistance

- Spanish translation services
- Free consultation and low cost fees for immigration applications and
services. (Call for an appointment.)\Assistance with completion of Medi-Cal
forms - Eye examinations and glasses for low income clients ($20 co-pay)

To offer this wide array of safety net services to the community we rely on
partnerships with local churches, businesses, school districts, county and city
government agencies, civic groups and individual donors. We also rely on the
many volunteers who donate their time, ideas and energy to help keep our
organization strong.
* Emergency Food Program is supported by Raley's Corporation Food for
Families Program, FEMA and community donations.
** Recreation services are in Conjunction with City of Galt Parks and
Recreation.
